Safety Information
At Celtic Lass Creations, your safety and the safety of your loved ones matters deeply to us. Please read the following carefully before purchasing or gifting any handcrafted item.
Children's Safety Handcrafted crochet items, particularly amigurumi and decorative pieces, may contain small parts such as safety eyes, buttons, or embellishments that pose a choking hazard. These items are not suitable for children under 3 years of age. For children ages 3 and older, adult supervision is strongly recommended during use or play. If you are purchasing a piece specifically for a young child, please mention this at the time of your order and we will do our best to accommodate safer construction where possible.
Pet Safety Please keep handcrafted items away from unsupervised pets. Small parts, yarn, and fiberfill stuffing can be harmful if chewed or ingested. Celtic Lass Creations is not responsible for damage to items or injury to pets resulting from unsupervised access.
Allergy Disclaimer Our handcrafted items are made with a variety of yarns and materials, which may include wool, acrylic, cotton, and other natural or synthetic fibers. If you have known fiber or material allergies, please reach out via our contact form before placing your order so we can discuss the materials used in your specific piece. Celtic Lass Creations is not responsible for allergic reactions resulting from undisclosed sensitivities.
Quality & Returns
At Celtic Lass Creations, every handcrafted piece is made with care and attention to detail. We take great pride in the quality of our work and stand behind every item that leaves our hands.
If you receive a handcrafted item with a visible defect or quality issue, we will make it right with a replacement or refund. Please reach out via our contact form within 30 days of delivery and include:
- Clear photos of the item on a flat, well-lit surface with the issue clearly visible
- Your order number
Sizing Adjustments
We understand that fit matters. If a handcrafted hat, headband, or similar piece isn't quite right, please reach out via our contact form within 14 days of delivery and we will do our best to adjust it for you.
Please note that as some pieces were crafted over time, the exact yarn used may no longer be available. In those cases, we will do our best to source a closely matching color and texture.
- Return shipping to Celtic Lass Creations is the responsibility of the customer
- We will cover the cost of shipping your adjusted piece back to you
Cancellations
Handcrafted Product Orders Every handcrafted piece is made specifically for you. If you need to cancel or amend your order, please use the link provided in your confirmation email. Changes can be made at any time before your order goes into production.
Once production has begun, cancellations are no longer possible, though you may be eligible for a replacement or resolution depending on the circumstances.
Commission Pieces Celtic Lass Creations happily accepts commission requests for custom handcrafted pieces — provided the project is within our current skill set and schedule. Each commission is a unique creation made just for you, and we take that responsibility seriously.
To get started, we require a detailed description of your vision, including size, colors, style preferences, and any specific references. The more detail you provide, the better we can bring your idea to life.
Pricing is determined by several factors, including materials, any pattern purchases or original design time required, and the hours spent handcrafting your piece. A custom quote will be provided before work begins.
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to secure your commission. The remaining balance is due upon completion, prior to shipment. Work will not begin until the deposit has been received.
Because your commission is designed and crafted specifically for you — and because materials and design time are invested from the start — the 50% deposit is strictly non-refundable under any circumstances. If you need to cancel after work has begun, the deposit will not be returned.
We appreciate your understanding. This policy exists to protect the time, materials, and craftsmanship that go into every piece we create.
Refunds
Handcrafted items are non-refundable unless there is a verified quality issue. If your item qualifies, refunds are processed as follows:
- PayPal: Refunds appear in your PayPal balance within 24 business hours.
- Credit/Debit Card: Refunds appear in your bank account within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank.
International Orders
International orders may be subject to import taxes, duties, and customs charges upon arrival. These fees vary by country and cannot be calculated in advance. Please contact your local customs office for information specific to your region. Any applicable customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
